The nose has lavender, deep heat, and crisp bonfire smoke. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has ash, crisp bonfire smoke and hints of gingerbread. The finish is smoke that builds briefly in intensity before fading.

Water brings out tight, compact and short-lived whorling that barely mottles. The nose gains seared steak, and the body gains heather and hints of spearmint. The finish is unchanged.

A decent end-of-evening dram, albeit a little unrelenting with dominant smoke.
